Celebrated around the world, Durga Puja is an occasion where people from all caste and creed come together to pay their respects to goddess Durga. The festivity is marked with various prayer and multiple rituals, and huge pandals are set up to honour the deity. Every year, many Bollywood celebs gear up for the same and immerse themselves in the celebrations. Recently, Alia Bhatt and Rani Mukerji were seen visiting a Durga Puja Pandal to seek blessings of goddess Durga. Dressed in festive colours, both the divas looked stunning in their attire and surely gave us some ethnic wear goals.
While the gorgeous Alia wore a soft ochre-hued kurta and churidar, Mukerji picked a dazzling gold-orange sari. Dressed in a suit designed by AM:PM by Ankur Modi and Priyanka Modi,
Alia made quite a statement with her subtle yet elegant choice. While the suit was plain and basic, it was the printed dupatta that added charm to her attire. Keeping her make-up minimal, she balanced her look with jhumkas and light pink lipstick. We like how she left her hair flowing and adorned her forehead with a small black bindi.
Rani looked flawless in a beige and gold handwoven sari designed by Raw Mango. We like how she teamed the elegant gold with a contrasting orange blouse and paired it with stunning earrings and a long necklace. With minimal make-up and hair swept to one side, we think she looked extremely gorgeous.
